As of January 1, 2021, the Jornal Brasileiro de Pneumologia will accept only articles in English. The main objective of this change is to optimize the internationalization of the Journal, as well as to expand the pool of potential associate editors and reviewers to evaluate the articles submitted.

On the Journal website, articles accepted for publication will continue to be made available in Portuguese and English.

The author instructions for the Journal will be updated to reflect this policy change.
